The team at Dark Cherry Creative, based in Bradford, have been members of The Bradford FC Business Club for nearly 12 months and have made many great connections from attending networking events held at Valley Parade and other venues across Bradford.
At the most recent event, James and Richard had the pleasure of welcoming members and guests of the event to chat with us in more detail about the creative services we offer. Our new stand was also on show and received great feedback.
We spoke with business owners across various sectors about our services and gave advice relating to website design, search engine optimisation and logo design.
The guest speaker at this event was Neil 'Razor' Ruddock, an ex-professional footballer with a larger-than-life personality. Neil shared some of his off-field struggles and related to business owners in various ways. However, one thing that stood out to our team and we spoke about in a follow-up meeting was something Neil said relating to criticism. He said he was too headstrong and couldn't take criticism well, but he said if, as business owners, we can take criticism as advice, it would be far more powerful than if we ignore it or take it to heart.
James and Richard enjoyed spending the afternoon with fellow business owners from the Bradford area and can't wait for the next meeting to catch up with everybody.
